64 Heifer Calves
Gross: $419,550.00

Sunshine, big crowd and a great set of summer and fall 2009 show prospect heifers met strong demand in rapid bidding. The 2009 National Junior Angus Show Res. Grand Champion Heifer was a Bismarck heifer purchased at Champion for $4,750.00. E6 Beefmaster Replacement Female Sale
Friday, April 2, 2010 • Perry,
GA

The Mid-Atlantic Beefmaster Marketing Group is sponsoring an E6 Beefmaster auction in conjunction with the Georgia Beef Expo and Georgia Cattlemen’s Convention on April 2, 2010. The auction will begin at approximately 5:00 pm immediately after the Expo Commercial Heifer Sale. 75 female lots have been consigned with approximately 25 cow/calf pairs, 25 bred heifers and 25 open heifers. The cattle will be consigned from Beefmaster purebred and commercial breeders from Georgia, Alabama and South Carolina. The definition of E6 is an animal sired by a purebred Beefmaster bull and out of a non-Beefmaster cow. (Also, an E6 can be out of a purebred Beefmaster cow and sired by a bull of another breed). Many of the cattle in this auction will actually be purebred Beefmasters carrying E6 papers. The reason being, as this is the first auction, we had to resort to purebreds to get enough numbers for the auction. The cattle have been screened on the farm and you will find the cattle to be of excellent quality. We expect to grow this auction into a true E6 event in the future. We welcome you to the auction to bid on the cattle and would like to meet potential consignors for the future. For a catalog, contact Sale Manager Mike Jones 706-884-6592 or order a catalog through this web site.
